The Symons K-Rod Vibrating Grizzly Screener is designed and engineered specifically for heavy-duty use on materials with a variety of characteristics. This approach allows this Vibrating Grizzly to be effective when dealing with dry, wet or sticky sticky product. It has been used successfully in some of the world’s most severe operating conditions for many years. This unique design ensures extremely high capacity ratings and makes screen blinding almost impossible.
Due to the unparalleled K-Drive, the K-Rod’s stroke is easily changed to meet a variety of production conditions. Usually the K-Rod Grizzly functions as a primary scalper making a single cut. However, in some cases up to two different separations can be made. The large feed box and significant clearance between the drive and the screen deck, allow particles up to twelve inches in size to flow unobstructed across the deck surface. For applications requiring a maximum feed size above twelve inches, the Symons Bar Grizzly Screen is recommended.
The SYMONS K-Rod Vibrating Grizzly Screener is available in the following sizes:
|Screen Size||No Decks||Weight (lbs.)||H.P.||Deck Length||Overall Height||Discharge Width|
Easily Variable Stroke
The Symons “K” Power Unit requires only a couple of twists of a wrench to adjust the stroke to ensure optimum performance.
This Grizzly Screener can scalp up to 550 tons per hour! It has flexible screen deck spacing meaning separations from 1/2″ to 2 1/2″ are possible.
Long Screen Life
The use of smooth, strong, parallel spring steel rods means the K-Rod sets the standard for long life, abrasion resistant screening surfaces.
Heavy Duty Construction
Symons Grizzly Screens are built to heavy duty specifications and include design elements such as a dust shroud and heavy duty motor which make the K-Rod an extreme value.
