Centrifugal Separation

When you purchase a centrifugal separation system from SMICO, your long-term satisfaction is our paramount concern. The machinery you purchase from SMICO is designed and built for your operation from engineering drawings tailored to your specifications. However, our pricing is extremely competitive with the pricing of our cookie-cutter competitors, who often charge you more for a machine that was not engineered and manufactured with your operation in mind.

SMICO Centrifugal Sifters offer unparalleled separation and production capacity while making economical use of your floor space and your capital-equipment budget. These units are ideal for scalping and excising small oversize amounts. Our usual lead time is less than four weeks from our plant to yours.

Lower-Cost Options for Centrifugal Separation

Our standard manufacturing medium in building these centrifugal separation sifters is stainless steel, which is ideally suited to their primary use in companies that deal with pharmaceuticals and other powdered materials. We do, however, also offer a lower-cost centrifugal separation option with carbon steel construction for those who do not have concerns associated with food-grade requirements or highly abrasive materials. SMICO will also be happy to discuss other options and choices with you before you place your order.

Materials that are brittle or susceptible to crumbling should be processed on other SMICO equipment, as de-lumping occurs naturally on our Centrifugal Sifters. Material is driven by internal beater-bars as it proceeds through stationary screening cloth and along the axis of the equipment. If you have any concerns about which SMICO units will optimize your separation and processing, just ask our representative to arrange for us to run a test of the materials in your process to help you select suitable equipment.

SMICO routinely customizes its designs to meet our client’s unique needs.
